wow, the worst I've had it was an old lady in an old corolla spit in my car's direction (when I had my GTT)

she was stopped at an intersection & I was driving along at the speed limit :D

either she hated imports or she hated asians or maybe both :P

middle finger ensued

Lol at all the people with weapons in their cars. I like the fire extinguisher though and probably more effective considering your sitting on your butt and cant take a decent swing with bats/clubs etc.

Craziest I've seen is a bloke from my MA class. His car's standard list was 3 wooden swords, pair of sai's, couple of padded staffs, couple of unpadded staffs, as well as a mixture of other random bits that seemed to change on a weekly basis. I kept telling him he is up the creek without a paddle if he got pulled over for a breatho especially when its all sitting behind the front seats spilling onto the back seat.

Many years ago as a young lad on a day trip to Melbourne I remember seeing a car cut off a cyclist. The cyclist must have known about the lights around the corner cuz he sped up and when the car stopped at the red he started belting on the car and yelling out. Bloke in the car jumped straight out for a go. In the end we were all pulled up behind them at the green light. With a few motorists with their heads out windows telling them to get out of the road (in less nice words). Had never seen anything like it before at the time. Probably in the top 10 highlights of my childhood. lol

Wait, wait, wait, wait... I have something!

I get angry looks when ever I pull up at traffic lights, especially from people in convertibles or people with their windows down. My brakes get quite a squeal up at the moment, I wub my silly brake pads of awesomeness :P

That counts as road rage right? :D

Oh I get the picture now...

sh@un with his magnalite Vs cpd with his baseball bat at the M4 lighthorse interchange > 2 more orange posts please?

wheres that :D

and l_uk3y, at least i can talk my way into why i've got mine :3 admittedly a 34" bat is hard to swing inside a car... but the 26" wooden bat isn't. ;D "its for reflex training"

Always good to train the swing on the ones that come close to the body. What better way then against people trying to get through your window.

Methinks it was! Hey Anthony it wasn't you was it? Where do you live? Can I bring over my ancient gattling gun and show you how it works? lol

HAHA, I live in the area, and my dad use to own a White GT replica, looked like a phase 3...

But in 1981 i was minus 3... So yeah, wasn't ME!

Must be 4wd owners had a dickhead up my arse all the way from wollongong when he pulled up next to me said keep in the f%$$$ING LEFT LANE but i was overtaking anyway. My Reply was Don't F$#k with a skyline mate everytime he tried to overtake in the right lane I just dropped it a gear and boosted in front of him then slowed back down to 80 from 110 his trip took a lot longer then if you want to drive like a dick then cope your medicine i say...

A couple of year’s back I was a passenger and my mum was driving me to Lindfield station. We were behind this van for around 600m on a residential road and the van was doing 20kmh. We got to 4 way intersection on the red and we needed to turn left. The Van was in front of us and seemed to be going straight ahead. The lights turned green and the van didn’t move. The lights went red. After a five second count on the next green light, my mum tapped the horn. The van moved 2meters forward, stopped in the middle of the intersection, a junky looking guy got out with a hammer and started screaming "WHAT C*$NT. WHAT THE F*$CK DO YOU WANT C*$NT". He then started running at our car. Mum floored the car into oncoming lane (was empty) and the guy threw the hammer at the car as we passed him. He got back into the Van and chased us all the way to the Gordon police station. We pulled into the carpark under the police station and he was still screaming at us.

I got the license plate and we went and reported it to the police.

The guy is already wanted by police and is considered armed and dangerous as he has several prior arrests for armed burglary, assault with a weapon, resisting arrest (the list is as long as my arm).

The police said we should have run him down.

Far out, some people did get abused as kids, hope they all get slapped so hard

damn unlucky lol, points for effort though

farken hate wankers like that, no respect for anyone let alone picking on a woman. losers

actually now I remember when I was younger in my then gf's car we got threatened by some guys for no apparent reason, just sped up then followed alongside us. I picked up her clublock & extended it out the window with my best "come over here & say that" face, they sped off ahead :)

in hindsight shouldn't have tried to provoke anything, not worth the risk

I once had an old man block me off from merging. I just braked and went behind him. Much futher down the road it went back to two lanes and I moved to the right lane to turn right. He started abusing me for something (perhaps driving correctly and safely) and he proceded to come out to confront me. Me and Klub Lock got out and he split faster than a fat man's pants. I thought maybe I was driving a girls car (WRX) or maybe he mistaken me for someone else.

^^^ Statistically, most people become more mellow after menopause or in his case, andropause. In his case, his hormones have gone AWOL > grumpy-old-man syndrome. I love it when I see bravado turn into a runner.

I love it when people get road rage and shout and scream at you, what I like to do is apologise if I'm in the wrong, or if i'm not I give them the finger while I look straight ahead paying no attention to them. They get so angry when you don't pay attention to them and its hilarious to see them doing their nut in your peripheral vision!!!!!!!

Hi.

This is a very interesring read aren't people stupid. I had a fellow blow his horn at me one day and wave his fist- very theatrical ( he was following me). At the next set of lights i received more melody from his horn. Lights turned green i eased away and immediately pulled over and he past i pulled out behind him- the "hunted" became the "hunter".

Funny how they realise this may not be a situation to their advantage. He took of through the traffic changing lanes no indicators obviously to get away from me. I wasn't in the slightest bit interested as i wanted to get somewhere to be with somebody. hmmm.

    • Hey guys. I have a 400R on its way to Australia from Japan currently and have a few questions I’m hoping others may be able to help with.   Wondering if anyone here has had any luck getting the Sat nav unit to work in Australia!? Assuming the Stereo is as simple as a band expanded and tv won’t work?  Seeing as they’re based off a Q50 which is Aus delivered is there any way to link that system to the nav? Nav modules and head unit are different part numbers and appear slightly different at the rear with plug ins etc. can I put my xtrail sd card into the rv37 and will that convert the maps or update to Australian? Has anyone got any advice here?     also has anyone fitted the factory remote start and Security system once it’s landed in Australia? I put an enquirey to Nissan Japan in via a third party, and they suggested it needs a Nissan Japan dealers device to setup and couldn’t guarantee if one here could do it or not. They can supply and I can physically fit it but to setup I would need a dealers device. Any information here would be appreciated also. I’ve seen one here with it fitted already prior to leaving Japan at a dealer/inporter, so clearly passes compliance and works when fitted Japan and doesn’t need changing here.      also, does the tyre inflation sensors work here? Does anything change with them when the vehicle arrives? Where are they actually situated? I’ve read they have batteries and they need to changing at times and seems like resetting involves the nav system?    any help here would be appreciated and any other aust specific information to help would be great. Looking forward to see what the current generation skyline is like and eager to see how many of the gadgets can be utilised here.  Thanks in advance
    • Do need to take it with a pinch of salt. One of the adapter failures, they clearly had setup issues with the flywheel.  One of the slipping ones I spoke to and it was pretty clear the throwout was riding, rather than fix, just swapped to a new clutch.    These clutches are being put in anything from 5k offroad 4x4 beaters, GR yaris, 500hp commodores to 1200hp barra monsters. Bound to be some issues in some of them when they are not a simple bolt in affair due to the changes in height.    There is a lot going on in this picture and unless I did the job myself no way to tell what really happened.
    • I did this mod in 2019  You just have to modify the top bracket of the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU so it sits more upright and closer to the back seat and run a good quality positive battery lead from the engine bay, the negative lead i just bolted down to the body in the boot.
    • Damn... Not the feedback I want to hear.
