Did Luke Heslo want a timer as well? I thought that he had his own

I do have my own Dale, but if it means the difference between hiring the gear or not I'll put my hand in my pocket :(

EDIT: You also forgot Heslo's +1

Well that's the 12 then.

There is one place available if someone wants lukes and he will use his own.

for those with iphones you can down load the GPS lap timer for a few dollars. Worst case it will be 1/10 of a second out, I'll be seeing how well it works this weekend so let me no if anyone wants feedback.

if you're talking about "trackday" i've got it on my phone but haven't had much success getting it to work yet. it took ages to register the starting point and then triggered laps at totally different parts of the track. perhaps the gps reception wasn't great - I'll try next time to get a better signal on the dash...

if its like last time (99% will be) its self-scrutineering. by signing the application form, you agree that your car is roadworthy and isnt going to dump 5L of Motul on turn 1. usually 3 groups of 20 mins each, slow med fast, you sort yourself into your own groups.by about lunch time, people with issues or those coming off early creates more space in each group, so there will be plenty of sessions with little to f**k all cars on the track, so dont sweat it if your not in your preferred group in the morning.

just make sure you wear or take a long sleeve cotton shirt with you, you can grab one from cotton on for $20, long pants, and your helmet. Fire extinguishers not required.

Hey guys, I cant wait for the day... have been so busy with work I havent driven my R35 in the

hills for over 8 weeks. Shame, shame, shame. That car should not be sitting in the shed.

Anyone want to charge the battery for me just let me know...............

As far as the R33 goes I have not driven that in 6 long months since last track day in October

so will be nice to re-introduce myself to the Holinger & give it a serve. Way too long between

drinks....(well, for the GTRs anyway - hic!)

Have just got my new 10.5" wide RE30s with new Michelin Slicks fitted so will be a great experience

to drive the car with more grip out of the corners - the yoko AO48s (3 track days old) were struggling'

to hang on out of corners so will be fun to be able to power out & get some good speed down early.

All AI need to do now is learn how to actually drive the car properly get used to braking!!!

I will drive the R35 out & give it a few goes as well, but not expecting great things as it has around

12000 hard kms on the original bridgestones & they will suffer after a few hot laps.

Unfortunately, it requires a different set of rims to the R33 so cant just swap over the slicks.

Hope the weather is just like today......

See you all there.

JM

Ps. I dont have a 12v outlet in the race GTR but would welcome the timing gear for a go

in the R35 if it is available for 1 or 2 sessions.

The Race GTR is still very much in testing mode so not too fussed about lap times.

Anyone want to charge the battery for me just let me know...............

If by 'charge the battery' you mean drive the car more regularly so that said battery maintains its change then I believe that we could come to an arrangement :(
