I want to do the Rb30/25 in my Datsun C210 Skyline . I have been reading the threads about this hybrid and just want abdolute convincing that I can use the stock non turbo RB30E block and put the RB25 DE on then add turbo manifolds, Are there some turbo oil lines that are suppose to return oil to the sump, and if so how do they attach? would like to see some pics if possible. Excuse my noobieness but I've only ever run carbs and i'm out of my zone. I have a block on offer to me and would like to buy it soon if usable.Ricky

30 blocks have all the oil lines there.. turbo or na all the same. 99% sure. and 99% of 30det's running around started life as $100 clapped out auto r31/vl commodoore engines

One more question, is there a list of the exact components required. Do I have to run aftermarket computer if I use 25DE head as apposed to DET ?

Not all RB30's are the same.

You need to make sure the block has the machined surface for the idler bearing and at the bottom of the block surface half way along it has to have the bung there for the turbo oil drain.

The idler bearing is right next to where the tensioner is positioned on the 30 engine. It will just be a flat surface, with a 10mm hole and a 1.5 thread in it. This is where you'll need to put the idler bearing

Everything else will bolt straight up.

The only thing you have to remember is if you use a 32 25DE head, you have to stay with the DE manifold. The exhaust is the same flange configuration.
