R33 with Techtom MDM-100

Does anyone have the Techtom on their R33 GTS-t?

On the s14 there are only three wires from the ECU that go to the CONSULT port: TX, RX, and clock.

However on the R33 there are four wires: TX, RX, clock and start diagnosis.

I am trying to figure out if Techtom uses the "start diagnosis" wire or if it is used specifically for CONSULT.
