COD is better used on smaller items, not big ones like rims or bumpers. There's a parcel limit of 105cm in length imposed by Australia post anyway.... Aussie Post will charge around $8 extra just for their commission if you ask for COD. This is generally paid by buyer side, plus postage cost when they pick up the parcel.

use a courier for rims, will work out cheaper and more secure. Do a 50/50 paymnet.. he deposits 50% into your account direct debit. Until you get the money in there, you don't send. On receipt of the goods he sends you the other 50%.

Generally that has worked ok for me.
