I just checked to make sure it wasnt april fools day.

Somebody should revoke your right to own such a nice car as the V35 coupe.

But if you like them, then go for it. Most of us are guilty of something that "seemed like a good idea at the time".

I feel like showing off sometimes.

and these are for those "sometimes"

if u need to buy them...go here.... http://www.varad.com its not cheap either... it hooks up to ur sound system and car alarm.

its a personal choice....everyone knows its illegal and i dont think u will have them switched on 24/7. so go for it if u like it....and its NOT GAY TO HAVE THEM either

personally LED underbody are nice... if its on a lancer (omg fully sik mate) then its RICE. my way of putting it is if its on a nice car then it'll look nice.

rule is...for ever 100hp=1 underbody neon/led tube. you are allowed 2 paul, most of us anyway :P if you can squeeze another 70hp into her you can have 3!

someone please talk him out of it :P

on a more serious note....isn't underbody neons illegal??

They are legel in QLD as long as they follow these rules..

Lighting

Adding extra lights or neon's can bring more attention to your car, but it's not always wanted. The fitting of under body lights (neon's or LEDs) or other lights is legal, provided they meet several criteria. For under body lights, they cannot be distracting to other driver's, this means you cannot see the source of the light. Flashing lights (excluding indicators) are illegal except for emergency vehicles or special vehicles in hazardous situations (usually amber lights on construction vehicles or tow trucks etc).

Colours are also limited. Blue lights cannot be fitted to any vehicle at any time, unless it an emergency vehicle – this includes under body lights, LED washers or parkers. White lights can only be visible from the front of the vehicle; red lights can only be visible from the rear of the vehicle. Purple cannot be used due to their use by the Department of Transport. Yellow (or amber) should only be used as clearance markers.

I personally think they look good, but not on all cars.. I would have green if our car was not forsale (100% legal).... Not saying i would use them all the time but some times. :D

And for those that say they are rice, well the car is Japanese... lol and they did start it.. hehe

Hope that helps.

Agreed with above.

i know a friend that has a 350z with countless mods...has twin turbo, 1/4 mile runs would be at least in the 11s. use to go on cruises with him and people would admire and give thumbs up including v8s etc. as soon as he puts in LED underbody (million colour ones) hes car became RICE... :D

come on guys admit that you like them :P:P

For under body lights, they cannot be distracting to other driver's

To each his own but just be warned not all police have the same opinion as to what is 'distracting to other drivers'.

To each his own but just be warned not all police have the same opinion as to what is 'distracting to other drivers'.

Distracting is as follows in the Modifatation rules for QLD Transport. (NOT WHAT THE POLICE OFFICER THINKS), He/she enforcers the law they do not make it.) So keep a laminated copy of this rule in the car make sure it complies and they cannot do a thing about it. QLD transport/ Road smart say you can do it you can do it, this goes for this or any mod you do.

DISTRACTING

This means you cannot see the source of the light. Flashing lights (excluding indicators) are illegal except for emergency vehicles or special vehicles in hazardous situations (usually amber lights on construction vehicles or tow trucks etc).
