g'day, ive just had a new dash put into my r32 gtr, the rest of the plastics are painted bayside blue. i am wondering if there is a way i can remove the paint without damaging the plastic ?

the door cards the underdash and centre console is painted, and id rather try remove the paint then buy a whole new interior.

in 1 spot on the door cards the paint is flaking off.. so my guess is that it wasnt painted with quality products.., ??

any ideas ?

thats tricky hey,,have u tried any thinners or any thing like that ?

nope havnt given anything a go yet - was hopeing for the heads up on some product.

i know thinners does melt plastic - as im a welder and i learnt this by cleaning my grinding shield with thinners to get a small ammount of paint off - it just smeared the plastic after a bit of rubbing, then the whole shield became blotchy and cloudy.
