Where To Buy Sheet Aluminium

hi guys dont suppose anyone knows where I can buy some sheet alloy, ive looked up a few places but they only sell really big sheets, I just need some to make a floor for the boot so I dont need a huge amount, and im not sure what type I need obviously its not dealing with heat or anything.

Just search for madalia steel places next to where you live the standard size is 1200*2400 id use 2mm they are around $120 or you could order a sheet in that it smaller and that would be 1200*1800

If you dont need alot hit up bunnings....they sometimes stock Sheets there...

I bought Some a few months ago.... 900x900 1.5mm thick for 32ish bucks a sheet

They have thicker but not sure on price...

give it a shot

yeah little sheets from bunnings....but the 1.2 x2.4m sheets are probaly cheaper than what bunnings sells.

will it be taking any weight? if you use your boot then you would need atleast 3mm thick alloy.

your best bet normally is not to go to a supplier for smaller portions, but to a sheetmetal shop and get them to supply

we do sheetmetal in my shop also, so with a template we can cutout what you need (after tuesday due to the long weekend though)
