Morack has some interesting holes but they aren't the best maintained (read: turn to shit in the winter).

All public golf courses suck once you've played as a guest on a members course lol.

yarra bend fairfield good public course ,Malvern valley waverley road good front 9 or something like the dunes or eagle ridge if you want to loose heaps of balls, crack the shits and want to go home after 14 holes because you have tried to hit the ball 200 times and you have 50 shots to go and another 5 balls to find..buggies needed there

come down to franga!

being serious, centenary park is a good course. they have a direct plumb into recycled water so the place is green as.

most of the holes are pretty wide, so you can get away with a lot.

Montuna is good, but damn its tight around there.

The back 9 @ Brighton Public isn't bad....might be getting pretty dry though by now. I did'nt like the front 9.

A easy course is Royal Elsternwick...very short, green and only 9 holes. And the Elsternwick pub is across the road and they have ACE parma's!

Albert park is good...long, but good. You will need a motorized cart for it.

Most course's this time of year will be pretty dry :D

could always have a can a hole till the the 14th then go off road buggy racing to the 19th for a few more beers.beats having to look for balls and falling asleep at the tee

hahaha we were doing shots of what ever we were drinking for however many we went over par. and it was getting worse by half way lol

have put in a request at albert park woot

That. Centenary park is good for a public course, wide as it is it'll test you, but as far as public golf courses go it's pretty damn long, (it is wide, though) which may not be great for a random hit and/or beginner to the game. I score terribly there, it's cursed.

Also cursed, albert park driving range. Seriously there's some dark magic going on there because every time I go to the range I magically lose a hell of a lot of distance. I went to Morack after that to feel good about my golfing ability. Until they removed the driving range.

Malvern Valley is better than Albert Park IMO... we play at all those courses, Brighton, Sandy, Chelt, Elsternwick etc... Malvern is still the preference though

Brighton very dry now, Elsternwick only for a cheeky 9 after work as its pretty bad... Sandy really busy on the weekends... Malvern has the best fairways, back 9 is really nice (for a public course)... went round the back 9 in 37 a few months ago... but haven't been able to repeat the feat... frustrating farkin game!
