when the nitrous engages my boost increases i know it would be logical because the nitrous cause the turbo to spool more.... but should it have such a drastic increase like for example from 10lb to 14 lbs after nitrous is introduced and can i controll the boost a little better....?

Yes it's normal. The extra exhaust gas volume will almost always create a higher boost value once the nitrous is activated, particularly on a standard turbo with a small/already choked exhaust housing. Here is a dyno plot of my car with 13psi set on the boost controller and no nitrous and then 12psi on the controller with 100hp shot of gas. You can see that even with the duty on the boost controller turned down, the extra exhaust gas volume spiked the boost above the desired level. Also note how the small exhaust housing chokes off power production in the top end with or without the nitrous.
