meh, with decent modifications the plugs can die at pretty much any time, irid or copper.... i know what i prefer....

not to mention that all the decent tuners round town recommend coppers...

mine tend to last 20thou with 300rwkw....

Well....yes, but the platinum's were from Japan when the car was imported, no idea how long they were in there.

I don't do many km's so even 10K is quite a long time :rofl:

least they will make boost :)

im still running BCPR6E's. You reckon that could be the case of my detonation issue when i approached you before? Ive observed the ones i pulled out for any black speckles, there are a couple but cant determine if they are there due to misfiring from overheating.

I just found that colder plugs exacerbated the fouling ie that they were not as effective at burning a rich air/fuel mixture.

Thats a tune issue not a plug issue, we have a few guys with daily drivers on 8 and 9's
