alright, so i have got all my stuff and ready to bolt it on..

but, how do i tell which is the water feed and water drain on the turbo?

i have read through here and cant find anything and also searched google..

and the oil drain is pointing down on the center

just hook it up the same way as the standard turbo

oil in will be quite small and unique and oil out (drain) is a 2 bolt diamond shape flange the two on each sides of that are the water feeds, doesnt matter which way they are hooked up.

well bolted the hks cast low mount manifold tonight and then test fitted the turbo and WOW no room to fit it..

engine mount in the way and lines from power steering?

will this low mount with this manifold and turbo?

its a r32 w rb25det..

you'll need a 20mm spacer between turbo and manifold more then likely and even then you may need to do some mods to things to make it fit.

if i high mount it will i need a custom cross over pipe? will it fit with the stock one in place?

heres the way we did it..... clears everything and port for gate is nice and high.

hes using a hks manifold, not a stocker. it'll fit but like i said, engine mounts need some love afaik

might just have to use the stock mani, port it out and do the same.

the lines you'll have to ditch and get braided lines anyway.

but yes, post a pic of turbo in place... more then likely something can be modded to make it fit

HKS manifold will require a small amount of tough love to the engine mount as Jonno says.

So i guess welding a pipe for the gate might cause it to crack all the same as welding it off the manifold???

I'd rather screw up a manifold than a turbine housing

Yes, I've fitted a bigger turbo that that in there.

You need to mod the power steering return lines, the compressor should clear the engine mount, though you may need to give it a tap with a mallet, it'll be the metal tab on the rubber part of the mount that gets in the way. Just chop that off.

just reading some threads and came aross this..

gt3076r dont come with the .70 compressor housing..

but mine says this on the front

is this a 3076r or a 3082r.
