Gt28r On Rb25det

gday fellas, the stock turbo on my car has heaps of shaft play and is ready to be put to rest, or apparently i can have it rebuilt for 800 :eek: sooo i was looking at something cheap to replace it in the meantime until i can afford to rebuild my engine...so i came accross a cheap gt28r otherwise known as a GT25/30, just wondering how this would go or would it be a total waste of time? if so how much power could it make?

for starters too small and secondly its a T25 flange.

get it hiflowed by hypergear, cost alot less over all otherwise buy another stock unit 2nd hand.

ive got a hks 2530 on mine..awesome response and makes decent power( 240rwkw depending on the conidtion of your motor and type of set up)...depends what you're after though

The HKS250 Is not exactly a GT2860R. Its running a GT2860R"S" CHRA with a 64T 60mm comp wheel. (GTRS turbine wheel is different)

Well if you have a working GT28R we can machine your stock housings to suit its CHRA, Still be a cheap option for around 200rwkws.

wouldnt bother, a stock turbo would see 200 rwkw.
