HID lights

umm

oh yeah maintenence parts - new alternater new battery 6 months rego etc etc

cleaner and better kept than most cefiros, was one of the first cefiros in aust - first aust owner

what would you guys value it at??? kinda jsut want to sell it really... i'm baffled by the amount of guys selling their cefiros on car sales for like 10grand or eleven grand still - are they REALLY worth that much??? do they ACTUALLY sell at that price???

Nathans is selling for 7.5k ... its white (blue pearl), auto, immaculate with a black interior...80xxx km, which is a fair price.

For a turbo model, with a wonder kit, about 8.5k ++ but feel free to ask for more.

SR20DET Cefiro for 15 grand going in Perth at the moment, and rolling shells pull between 4 - 5 grand here as well.

Remember that prices range..I've seen an AWD Cefiro, turbo, with 200'000km sell for 2 grand..and I've also seen a 20DET 5 speed, with the usual basic mods, sell for 10 grand...go figure.

my mate sold his for like 17k in wa to an over east buyer so ++ for transport and transfer fees

no worries i'll put it up for say 9K ono all fixed up but will emphasise offers accepted

while i have the attn of my 2 favourite sauwa guys ..... if u can hook me up with a sale via ur mates etc theres a spotter prize in it but understand im broke atm n pretty hard up on luck so it may be a gift... ur pick ... i know ppl who know ppl so get asking!!!!

Guys I know there's a lot of dudes putting their car up for sale but i'm not putting mine for sale. It's GETTING sold. As I said . . Price nego.., I just want the car to go to an owner that actually WANTS the car.. Cos I simply don't.. I've had it since I was 19 now i'm 24 I want another car :( you guys can understand that:) it's not that i'm done with repairs or want to hav a baby or anything.. I'm just simply done with it and want to drive something else:)but yea would love it if you guys put me onto a buyer:)

wow , i see them going for much less than that :D , the reason i still have mine is because i see them for under 10k with the same or similar mods :(

Over East they're alot cheaper...and in NZ they're cheap as chups. Even in SA they got alot cheaper than here locally.

WA isnt the best market for (actually) rare imports...even worse for finding a buyer that isnt a complete moron or wants to defile a perfectly straight tidy car into a drift cop.

Rowan, stick to your price ...don't sell this thing cheap to some dick head 18 year old that used to sailing an R33 ... otherwise a great example of an A31 ends up being a tree hugger (not cool).

++

Consider most Ceffies go cheap because they're seen as an "animal" kind of cars...and when its got a shitty old interior, gauges cut/drilled in everywhere and faded paint...yes its exactly that...a shitheap that is f**king awesome fun to drive. The Cef in mention doesnt meet that criteria, I still think 9 grand is a fair price as a base model considering the good state it has been kept in.

meh - if someone wants to pay that they can - they do whatever they want with it in their own time - like yeah i'd love to find a buyer like yoruselves who understand "what this cefiro is" but it's not always the case...

i'm sure it would if the car was actually up for sale at the moment man :) i've been busy getting a job - cos that's like three times as important as selling my car is!!!

but now i has job - and car can be put up for sale - turns out job pays more than i thought it would - so price will now be pretty darn negotiable

^ you're trying to be a funny man, right ?

Well no offense but it is a 20 y/o auto that has been fcuked with. I know WA is silly money for cars so I admit it may go for more in actuality.

I'm not hating on A31's but bear in mind how much is a 34 4 door auto? 9 grand maybe and half the age.

It's a 20 year old auto in great condition, and has barely been f**ked with.

Consider that there are alot more than 100-150 R34 4 door auto's in the country too. What does age have to do with it, the KMs on this Cefiro in mention are still low..and I see R34s incoming from Japan with more KMs on the clock.

"Bear in mind" that most idiots think their R33s are worth about 9 grand as well...just jump on CarSales and have a look at the prices people ask for cars that are as abundant as oxygen...while you're there, check out the average price of any Ceffies that are in this condition...even over east, they're worth more than 4g's.

5-6G seems reasonable. Depends entirely on the condition of the car the luck in finding someone wanting a cefiro for the quality of the car. All in all if you want to sell it.. i'd probably start at 7?

guys shut the shit up i just spent four minutes of my life reading verbal daihorrea!!!!

Sarumatix - over east 7grand is an acceptable starting price, however in Wa prices for cars come at a premium because - frankly we're a bit higher paid over here... also we know that while cars are cheaper over east it has to be freighted, so naturally, cars fetch a higher price...

tony the rarity of the cefiro coupled with its ineligibility to be imported (to my knowledge) keeps the price high, to a cefiro owner, or potential buyer, it's not what the car's worth in money... it's what the car is worth to the driver, i'm not kidding, once i parked my car at my work, and as i was getting out another ceifro driver parked in the only vacant spot next to me, i'd never met this bloke before, he was young, and said he had a cefiro as his first car, wanted it as a project car,

sold it for 9K then bought a skyline, had the line for three months n realised the drive wasn't the same as the cefiro, then tracked down the owner and offered him 11 grand to buy it back off him..

cefiro owners are a different bunch of people...

as for the "auto that's been f**ked with" comment, that's an opinion formed by you which formed after you've never seen the car - this is hands down one of the best operating cefiros in the country, with low genuine klms and a well maintained engine...

pretty rude comment really - remind me when it comes time to sell your car so i can jump into your thread without reason or constrcutive comment and attempt to destroy your credibility.

    • Sadly I can confirm if you are actually seeking to drift, you will quite easily spin up one wheel. Even if you're going in a straight line. I am not entirely sure of the metrics/terminology here but there's only a certain amount that the helical will actually spin both wheels. I've seen it on video with my own car where two lines of smoke switch over to just one after you really get in to it. Unlike with a clutch diff where you can keep your foot planted until the car regains grip, in my experience with the helical you want to be utilizing traction control allowing LIMITED slip or lifting (partially) when you start to spin up both tyres with a Nissan helical. Which makes them pretty sub optimal for drifting duty. That said... this is probably a helical on numbers alone. Just put the Kazz in
    • Let's just fix the problem by f**king the rest of the gearbox.
    • Unlikely, as per Greg's post. This is not helical diff behaviour unless one wheel is up off the ground. Shimming what? You don't "shim" a mechanical LSD. Probably not in the sense that you have heard of people "shimming" a diff. And the process that Nissan f**kwits call "shimming" a diff involves super-preloading a VLSD cartridge against the side of the diff to create a friction/wear point (in a place that it wasn't supposed to have one) to make the sloppy, useless, viscous diff into a hybrid viscous/mech abortion. In case it isn't clear, I consider the process to be stupid. Nike.
    • How much does the shifter move when the car is in gear with the engine off? If it is more than about 1cm you need to replace your shifter bush. Your shifts will just get crunchier, not faster, with a short shifter unless you also rebuild the whole box
