Gearbox Conversion Help!

Hi there ...

I have read heaps and heaps of Manual Conversion threads, pm'd people and I still can't find exactly what I want, I have converted my Non-Turbo Auto R34 to a Neo 25det Manual, everything is in and I have been driving the car around for a few months now BUT the speedo and reverse lights don't work, I think it is about time I hook it all up ... Can someone please put up or link me to a step by step to the wiring from the ecu to the plugs in the engine bay (behind the head light) ...

Thanks in advance to everyone, I am sorry if I have missed a thread that has explained this as I have spent the last couple of days looking for it ... I have found a lot that explain the gearbox wiring colours, but I need to know what goes where etc ... I know a lot of people have taken theirs to a Auto-Electrics but I am trying to avoid that as I can do it myself once I know where it all fits into place ...

Oh true ... Thanks for the luck, I am going to attempt it again this afternoon, I've done lots of research and I am going to get a friend to look at it with me, yesterday was just looking at the service manual, Ecu pinout and all the wires etc ... If I can figure it all out I will put it up for those that want to do it themselves

As for the speedo, I've got no idea. I think it has something to do with the abs sensor in the diff

yeah i had trouble with my speedo not working aswell.. its connected to the ABS sensors on ur diff...

got your reverse lights / chime working for ya ricky.

you need to supply your reverse switch @ the gear box with a sw 12volt and run the other wire into the reverse light sw wire on the auto loom. (behind headlight) as for speed arif / me are still working on it.

will take ShanO` and noely1 advice as it seems weird on the gearbox the speedo sensor only has 2 wires.
