Hey everyone,

now this may not interest some of you as it is a silvia/onevia, not a skyline but im sure most of you are genuine enthusiasts so i'll put it up. I have put a rb20det in my car, then swapped fronts with a mate's 180 so i have a 180sx front with veilside front bar, these panels are white, i also got bomex side skirts and rear pods for $150 so i couldn't knock it back. Now comes the fun part, i've decided to respray the whole car as there are just soo many little niggly scratches, dints etc that need touching up. I don't think i'll paint the car, but i want to save a few $$ on labour by sanding it back myself as nobody is made of money! Just got a few questions

Sanding: I've started with 400 grade sandpaper and using water i've started sanding back the front, at what point is enough sanding?? I don't plan on going back to bear metal if i can help it, just the undercoat/primer. Also, some panels have some small fine dints, what's the best way to attack these???? Also, as i get closer should i go to 1200 grade sandpaper?

Colours: I've been umming and ahhhing about a colour for some time. Im throwing up between these colours. Something like the xr6 blue/wrx blue, canary yellow, white, black. I've tried to pick colours which would go well with the wheels as i don't plan on buying another set of 18's again!!!

I've thrown in a few pics to work with, the front bar has issues and i will be sorting that out eventually and i may be getting a better rear skirt/bar etc.

Thanks for any advice/tips.

Cheers

Jayson
