i think its got a rear dayz lip and nismo skirts, thats all. I got the rest of the nismo kit but unsure if i should fit it or not as i think it looks alright as is and dont want to go too over the top. I reckon the best look is the colour coded side trims on the doors which makes it look alot neater.

Don't tell me I misread the topic heading?!?!

Whats this? Mods pleez remove immediately!

No it applies to great cars as well as a great set , hence the play on words in title. These cars are freakn nice examples of pure JDM from Dolphin, Takeros, Dayz and Nismo. Good to see whats available out there on the market and what you can mix and match.

I reckon everyone needs a personal touch to their stagea.

Originally Dayz kit with lower front lip.

Images of the car now, Masa Front/Grill and Sides with Dayz rear spoiler lip. Masa rear bar to go on when I can be arsed, at which time the side strips will be painted body colour :)

The only thing I will change on the exterior once the car's performance is 'satisfactory' is a set of 18" TE37s of appropriate width and low offset to give a more aggressive stance. Apart from the fact that they are illegal, if you really work it out, spacers cost almost 8-10% of the cost of a set of the afore mentioned rims... bah!

Boo about the theft, the car is never the same. But alls well that ends well. NIce, phat as with th masa bits and TE37s, worth the wait . Looks like it all lined up good with fitment as should my 5 zillion dollar grille. Tangles would laugh.

Hows gtrwagon with the well excuse me, fancy ganadors, angel eye 260 but gotta admit tuff as and original kit with nice go fast bits to go on? Silver is bold. I reckon and I could be biased, but a S1 to me always looked that bit tougher than S2. Squarer frontbar and bbolder headlights?

Have you ordered the grill yet? I sent an email to Masa (In english and japanese) and they sold the bits to me direct, with a 10% discount off of the listed Japan RRP. It worked out to be 55-70% cheaper than buying from the popular online retailers. The most expensive part was shipping/customs, thank god I wasn't paying for it! Whatever you do, don't order anything worth over $1000 (inclusive of shipping) otherwise you will get duties/tax added on top... they no be cheap.

I would imagine the grill would be around $200 from Masa directly, hate to think what it would from the online retailers that I looked at... when I was looking for my gear I think one of them wanted to charge $3000 ish for just the front bar and grill!

You sir, have a beautiful car, welcome to the forum :)

Thanks for the welcome. I've been looking on here for so long that I didn't realise I hadn't even made a post to introduce myself.

I'm Dean from the UK. I am an established member on the Uk Skyline forums, having owned an R33GTST, an R33GTR and and R34 GTT.

I've just bought the Stagea because my kids are getting older now and the Skylines were a bit of a squeeze for them.

Yeah. I ordered my grille through nengun as I have contacts there, prices are reasonable better than IM. Used their EMS service and it arrived on my door step within 6 weeks. Was gonna get skirts, but opted for a hks dump and trust oil filter relocation kit.

Masa is top quality and you can be sure of good fitment.
