Hey I’m posting on behalf of a mate

1992 R32 Type-M

5 speed manual

Maroon

170xxxkms

REGO IS EXPIRED but can still be registered.

Selling due because i got in a front end accident and i can’t afford to fix it. What is needed to repair it is new front guards, bonnet, re-enforcement bar, a stock bumper, new front window as it is cracked, new battery, radiator, fan, and an air-flow meter.

WAS NOT A RIDE OFF and FRONT END ACCIDENT WAS NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT ENGINE WAS NOT PUSHED OR DAMAGE. Accident happened in August 2009 not that long ago.

Currents mods and stuff:

Front mount intercooler (was not damage in accident piping was not damage i was amaze myself when i saw the intercooler and piping not damage)

3” exhaust system (not too sure what it is bought it with the car)

R33 turbo (was already in the car when i bought it)

Heavy duty clutch

Struct bar

Stock suspension (changed the suspension because it was too low and my aftermarket front bar was like a few cm off the ground)

No pod filter (but will throw in a SARS pod filter for buyer)

No air flow meter as i SOLD IT to a mate.

Interior:

Interior is in ok condition few smoke burns on the driver and passenger seat and back

Blitz boost gauge

JVC head unit (with Bluetooth + remote)

2 6x9 Kenwood speakers in the back

2 Kenwood splits in the front (with stock front speakers but is fuzzy so i tuned it to the rear speakers only not that much to get new speakers)

Wiring for sub and amp (ready to plug and play)

Exterior:

A few scratches on the body (due to people leaning on the car with their belts but not that bad)

Stock GTR rims few gutter marks (with 60-70% tread)

BN - side skirts (hasn’t been painted still white few cracks)

BN – rear bumper (hasn’t been painted)

No front bar as it was damage in accident (it was a stock front bar) but can throw in my aftermarket front bar as i took it off to get repaired but since the car was in the accident i didn’t repair the front bar for an extra $150 ono up to the buyer just make an offer. Can see picture of the front bar if u are interested

The bads:

Need new central locking (use remote but car door does not locked)

Passenger window only can go down (only driver can make go up or down)

The side skirts and rear bar was just quickly fitted there are gaps and it was pop-riveted on so u need to take it off and then re-fit (but the front bumpers was a fitted nicely no gaps)

$4000 ONO

Could either fix it and sell it or drift it or turn it to a daily car

Im open to offers so why not throw me an offer but please no time wasters!!!

Welcome to have an inspection. Maybe more stuff but that all i can think of at the moment.

Call or message me for more details or information:

Lower control arm

Castor Rod

Swaybar mount

yea more pics under engine bay and the passenger side front. Saying "minor" damage is very misleading to the inexperienced eye buddy, looks like your pulling your willy too much.

    • I agree on doing some better than factory pistons, rods, and oil pump. For anyone using the vehicle on the road, I don't get why everyone wants big cams. The stock cam profile, with some more lift would be mint for road usage. Everyone going big cams and then wondering why it isn't as responsive in traffic, when they've shifted the torque curve upwards an additional 1000RPM. Make torque, at lower RPM. Sure it's not as cool as claiming "500KW" and revving it to 8,0000RPM, but that same torque 2,000RPM earlier... Then you don't need the extremely high end pistons and rods, and blah blah blah.
    • Personal experience. Those f**kers burn. And are actually a PITA to put out. Next time I walk down the back, I'll snap a photo of what the inside of the bonnet looks like when that thing ignites. PS, powder fire extinguishers are useless on that stuff too as it's fibrous and when it ignites, it starts to pull apart. And you end up just blowing powder through a sieve effectively.   Like the big thing is, if it's fire resistant, it's job is to stop what burning? The METAL above it? It's just to try keep heat off the bonnet paint work.
    • Oh man, sorry, $60.00000000... 😛
    • That's more or less what he meant. What it really means is that you do not have to go full crazy on the build. Don't need the best oil pump, expensive rods & pistons, big cams, etc. You can upgrade whatever you want instead of using stock level items, but you don't have to. Having said that - any time an RB is opened up, if anything is getting replaced, I think the opportunity should be taken to do all the sensible upgrades. Pistons, rods, pump, etc.
    • February update 🙂 We managed to get the very last 1/18th "Extra Scale" cars stock available from bookstores in Kyoto. These are actually the last ones and will not be restocked again! Hachette Collections Japan have not decided on a release date for these or other models in the series, so for the time being these are all there are available new.  These are showing up on Yahoo auctions at inflated prices already (especially the Celica and NSX) so get yours now at a very reasonable price before they disappear!
