hey guy i just picked up my r32 gtst a few days ago and i am going through a few things to get it road worthy for registration, one question i have is about the rear windscreen wiper.

i have no wiper blade attached so obviously i have to get a wiper blade, now what i want to know is:

is there another piece i am missing, i have a little black knob but it doesnt look like there is anything to attach to a wiper blade, or is that peice part of the wiper blade itself?

i tested the control mechanism on the inside of the car and the round thing spins as if it work fine so yeh just need to know about the wiper,

if you need a pic i can take one and post up if its easier

So you are missing the actual arm that holds the blade? The rear wiper is just a smaller version of the front wiper.

But, do you actually need a rear wiper for a RWC?

yes that would be correct!, as far as i am aware because it needs to be in working condition to pass rego, correct me if i am wrong if someone has any other info

you shouldnt have any issues as its not an ADR requirement to have it there

well under that black knob that spinss............. anyway - there will be a splined threaded bolt that the wiper arm gets fixed to

if thats still there, then you just need to find someone wrecking a 32 and get the rear wiper arm and the nut - plus the little cover that goes over the nut too.

push it on, tighten up and away you go.
