Rb26 Surging When Cold?

hey guys got a 32 gtr (completely stock although some of the epa gear has been removed) was just wondering why it wont really run so nice when its cold, i.e starts surging when ever revs come up to about 2-3 grand. all is fine when its at running temp, but just wondering what it could be, it wont even free rev just starts breaking down. once water temp it up though she runs 100% again?? any ideas.

My gtr has the same problem. Doesn't really worry me cos I always let it warm up anyway. Geuss it's something to do cold air fuel not burning properly. Check your cold start valve

hmm ok yeah i usually let it warm up too, but just something that would be nice to sort out cheers

What computer are you running? Have you had a full tune? Cold start maps?

just standard computer so no tuning
