Hey guys, My M35 Stag has started 'Pulsing' when under braking, (brakes grab then release at 1/2 second intervals or there abouts when braking only) it feels to me like slightly warped rotors, but I'm rather soft on my brakes and the cars only done 100,000Km on these rotors.

Any ideas, is this common? am I looking at a new set of rotors?

thats quite a long time for rotors, i reckon my c34 is still running stock rotors and they are coming to the end of their life at 80k

i would be thinking about changing them quite soon

Depending on how much is left, maybe have your rotors machined and put new pads on (talk to Jetpilot1986 about a set of QFM A1RM pads).

If there is not enough left for your rotors to be machined safely, maybe look a set of slotted rotors for a non-brembo 350z (they are the same as the M35 brakes)

I usually get ~60,000kms on a set of rotors before they start to "pulse"

Cheers for the tip on that, Im getting my brakes looked at on friday with the possibility of having them machined. The guys will tell me if they're not in good shape for machining, but I dont know if they'd be aware of other suitable brake without calling around; so that might save them some hastle :(
