euroequip
Hey all, I got a 3" dump pipe made up as well as the rest of the system that I needed (3" till it hits my fuji cat back) but when the exhaust shop were taking the stock dump pipe off, the oxy sensor broke. They tried to fix it with some electrical tape and pushed it back in but now I am getting a engine warning symbol. Anyone know what these sensors cost roughly? Cheers Cameron Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/305709-oxy-sensor-on-dump-pipe/ Share on other sites

iamhe77
Holy crap guys, I think I will make him pay after all!$250!!! Link would be great mate, thanks. Timing is everything I guess (just happened to be looking on IM and the O2 sensors were on the next page I loaded up!) CLICK HERE for the Import Monster link... but I think with shipping and commission, it will be north of $250... somewhere around $325 Just called Nissan, their trade price is $170 including GST for a new unit, but you will have to wait 10 business days from when you order (not that bad IMO) The O2 sensor from a VQ25det part number is 22690鈭扐L600 Edited January 28, 2010 by iamhe77 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/305709-oxy-sensor-on-dump-pipe/#findComment-5059745 Share on other sites

QWK32
Thanks for that guys, I think the exhaust shop I took my car too was a bit novice.. Regret much? these things happen, O2 sensors are easily damage during removal if not careful, all that constant heating up and cooling down makes them a real bitch to crack loose. i don't know where it is on the M35 but i've seen its quite cramped in there, they probably just had the wrong angle with a spanner and were rushing a little and damaged it. the dodge part is that they tried to tape it up, did they mention it too you at all and offer to replace it? if not, thats just bad business. They mentioned it to me and showed it to me, but did not offer to replace it. They did say they would actually put it on though.. I don't know if this is enough as the exhaust came in $250 over what they quoted and took an extra 2 days to complete.
