Will R31 rear discs go onto a MR30 sedan with no modification?

I have heard from some people that they absolutely will, others telling me that you have to switch the left and right over and then others that tell me there is no possibility of them fitting without machining work.......

Very confused......

yes they will but once u cut the drum off u will have to make ur own brackets to mount the calipers off. or find a r30 hatch 280zx etc with rear disc's and use their swing arms. but then no point cos already have disc's 4 the rear..

Yeah, looking for the discs as an upgrade for the rear drums

I'm just asking the question because R31 discs(around canberra anyway) are a hell of a lot easier to find than R30 discs

Ah huh!

Sweet talk MAG86 for the disc brake rear end he has, on his Ti hatch parts car he is wrecking. He now resides in Canberra near Girls Grammar School.

Your going to need the master cylinder as well, because it is valved diferent to the drum brake version.

He's away this weekend, but try him Monday.

Good luck!

Cheers, D
