If you take the time to do some searching many if not all of the questions you ask have already been asked and answered so assuming you do a search of SAU here is the one of the best links that should fix your issue very cheaply. If you take the time to add to these threads it remains as a quality database for the next person with the same issue.

Mate I've got Splitfire packs in mine. When i was looking at doing the swap i talked to a couple of workshops and alot recomended superspark as a cheaper alternative to the splitfires. Haven't heard much about the yellow jackets, and also the JJR ones Just Jap sell so i would stear clear. unless someone can recomend them. but unless they have been in a car for a couple of years you cant realy give a good opinion.

Anybody got a set for sale? I have looked at yellow jackets, supersparks and spitfires but i am pretty broke

Try wolverines method and if that isnt effective try second hand factory items.

Mine were pretty rooted after 10+ years of use and I opted for the proven super direct ignition system and didnt stuff around with other inferior brands.

Thats pretty much why i went for the Splitfire straight away. I know now that the will last the rest of the life of the car. No matter what mods.
