In 1994, HKS decided to release a 'complete car' to showcase their wide range of performance parts. The Zero R was based on the last of the R32 GT-Rs, but is so heavily modified that it can really be considered a different car. The price was more than 30 million yen, which at the time was arround six times the price of the R32 GT-R at the time.
