Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to the skyline/car tuning scene. Purchased a R32 GTR around 2 weeks ago. It's had a bit of work done by previous owners, mods include:

N1 Turbos

Haltec E11v2

Eboost 2 Controller

Tomei Cams & cam gears

Oil cooler & relocation kit

Full xaust

Aftermaket Intercooler

The dyno sheets which came with the car show 300kws at the wheels (not sure if it is all 4's). its had a road tune after the dyno tune, so who knows what the mapping is like now. :P

The car is running okay at the moment, but I cant help but feel that it isn't boosting properly. The car feels fairly flat all the way up to 5500rpm and then it just slaps you in the face with loads of pull… my understanding that the N1's should be delivering power in a fairly linear fashion.

Can anyone recommend a good newb friendly tuner in Sydney who knows their shit about tuning with Haltech ECU's??? by newb friendly I mean someone who will take a little bit of time to explain to me what their tinkering with & the general why's and how's

Thanks for your time!

N1 r32 are pretty average but 5500 is a bit late. I have had a lot of R32 GTR's in lately with leaking intake gaskets and itb gaskets. Spray aerostart around the intake manifold joins and if it idle increases they need replacing (do the lot though including the one to the head)

if your in sydney take it to jim at CRD.

Thanks guys, I'll have to check out these places! all have good rep, i've heard ppl mention that haltech tuners are a little harder to find... maybe JEM is the go then

Stupid question, but is it possible to run your car without AFM? I'm positive that I don't have AFMs connected... the pods fit straight onto the intake pipes

The the idle once warm is ~1100rpms and sounds bumpy (not a good kind - like a ported rotor having a heart attack! :) ), i can hear the fluctuations in the revs and the needle is not stable. I'm also returning less than 300km on 65L's of PULP on low boost and gentle driving...

to me its pointing to Air/fuel & the tune... what do you reckon.
