Hey everyone,

I'm selling my drift car - its just not getting enough use... I bought it off Fatz who also helped me set it up.

Its a 1987 r31 Skyline sedan (Aussie delivered)

Manual - not crunchy or anything - shifts fine :P

Red

S13 Silvia front brakes

Coilovers (They are HD system mid range ones, can't remember the name)

Adjustable steering arms

Sparco wheels - red and grey

Recaro seats (ok, they are fakes but bolted onto the stocker rails)

Autotechnica Steering wheel (although I'd like to keep it, bring your own wheel and save a little money)

The chrome is painted black - awesome.

S3 round tail lights and all the rear stuff to match (looks WAY better)

Most of the gauges work, but the odometer and trip meter don't. I'm not 100% sure of the kays - but it currently says 268,814.

2 1/2 inch exhust and hi flow cat, with 3/2/1 extrators.

11 months NSW rego.

A/C works but not well - with a re-gas it will work well :P

To drift properly you'd need to weld / LSD / locker the diff and give it a touch more power (maybe a nos shot :teehee: )

Even as it is, it slides like a champ, really well balanced and easy to control. I love this car but I am upgrading, and just don't have the room or I would keep it.

Its got a few minor dents and scuffs and could use a good cut polish again - It'd come up like in the photos. If you pay me I'll even do it for you :bunny:

It has been my daily for over 2 years and hasn't let me down. The engine seems nice and strong strong.

Would consiber swaps to equal cash value or maybe a grand on top, it'd have to be manual and rear wheel drive though - and able to tow my new 69 Capri!

There are also some spares and stuff for it - including 2 pairs of 15 inch mags (2 with passable tyres on them)

So, make me an offer if you are keen. Just PM me or give me a call.

0418 666 332.

Cheers!!!

Free Bump for a funny car.

I can attest to how easy this thing slides (even with an open diff). Cheap as chips too.

Good luck with the sale Oscar32, the new owner will be laughing all the way home.

Thanks mate - it had a weldy in it for a while and slide awesome then.

Now not AS awesome. But an easy fix.

Make some offers if you are in the Market for a R31 :)

The car is in Wagga Wagga, NSW - about 4.5 hours from Sydney.

Don't let the distance scare you city boys though - I'll happly drive it over for a serious, cash ready buyer.

Its a good honest car and I have no doubt it will sell.

I'll get some more pics of it tomorrow for you guys.

    • Took it for a drive to do some logs, I’m pretty sure my voltage issues and electrical noise issues are gone, I’ve sent a log to Adam and am waiting to hear back with confirmation  att.K23U9eHyiEJxixH6y1__GQfuqK0EgIoDgQFTs9G8x_w.mp4   idle video from that day just because
    • Went looking at mine, reading off the tyre, presumably these are 1st week of 2003. Still hold air (I haven't had to pump them up in over 12 months!)     I couldn't quickly find the date on the front tyres, they were fitted around 2008 to the rims, so probably not quite as old, but they have a lot more dry rot cracks in them. Still hold air.
    • I am now intrigued to go check the dates on the tyres on my Skyline... We need a game of who has the oldest tyre still holding a car up, and successfully holding air (for longer than a 2 weeks I feel is successful air holding).   I feel your tyres may be beating mine
    • Ok, still waiting for a date to get the cams installed on the MX5, why so long, because MX5 Mania has received a few new sets of different cams with different specs for the MZR and are currently trialling them, and working out what is best for 2.5 "powers" with stock internals, in the end if I go bigger than the Kelford stage 1 cams I'll need to look at the valve springs  Hopefully I'll get the news on them next week As for the boot of the car getting fixed, I hopefully pick it up early next week, I was sweating on picking it up yesterday but, meh, it was not to be, so ne weekend cruising for me
    • Ok got some old tyres for you guys...my car has been sitting around un-driven for about 6 years now. I had it on the original rims with the shitty compliance tyres it got it with back in 2006, which were manufactured in 2004... Sidewalls eventually rotted and split open, obviously no air in them and the rims were holding the car up. Just swapped them with some 17" Work rims and tyres which are probably 10+ years old too but at least holding air
