BeEnAr
The police do not send out warnings in the mail dude.... It's a fine. And I'd be contesting it too but only IF you were not driving the car and they didn't see you drive. If it was just there and you were just leaning on it as you said then contest it. If you have not given all the facts here and there is a possibility of you being seen driving (your word against theirs as they don't take photos while driving) then wear the fine dude. jezza boii
What is the wording on the notice out of interest? Something along the lines of "breaching conditions on license" I guess it's the same as someone breaching medical conditions on their license (i.e. some people have to wear glasses at night). "A" (auto) is considered a "condition" Funny system really. And eMsta, it wasn't a pointless thread. I wanted to know what I was potentially up for. If it was bad then it might have caused me to sell the car or something. Now for future reference people will know what to expect Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/306059-driving-manual-on-auto-license/page/4/#findComment-5072378 Share on other sites
KURAUN
why buy a manual car if you have auto licence in fisrt place? do the test first then buy it lets say it was bad and you did have to sell car, waste of lots of time and money cause i highly doubt you will get back what you payed for it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/306059-driving-manual-on-auto-license/page/4/#findComment-5072399 Share on other sites

Ant97GTR
Will keep it short as on iPhone nismoid correct unless police actually saw you drive then no offence can be prooved, I doubt fine will be issued unless more to this. Also full lic can drive manual even if only had auto to start with. As to drink driving need more than keys in ignition to proove, I had one recently that was blind drunk passed out at wheel at intersection car running in turning lane with car in gear and indicator on and he got off. Sums up the stupid court system and why crime on the rise WTF?!? Sounds like the courts only get off their lazy a$$ when theres a death or damage to property involved Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/306059-driving-manual-on-auto-license/page/4/#findComment-5072749 Share on other sites
Birds
The courts and sometimes the police. Don't bother filling out a hit and run accident report unless you are injured or someone died, they just don't care.
