well from today I have 28 days of skylining left...

You may be wondering why.... well today I decided to be a wanker.

Thats right the speed limit doesnt apply to me I am above the law. (note the heavy sarcasm). I totally ignored sign posted speed limits and instead of doing 60km I decided I would do 98km exactly 245.3m from a nice shinny blue ford police car. Which stood out like tits on a bull.

Hello 360 dollar fine and 6 months suspension.

well thats all i really had to say. Feel free to post any abuse and tell me I was stupid because thats what I am. I did the wrong thing. I will pay the fine. And I will accept my punishment.

Maybe I will meet some nice girls on the bus.....

My car is now up for sale from today.

meh did almost the same thing, instead I got a $260 fine n a 1 month suspension cos the copper was being in a good mood (even tho he screamed "you could have ****ing kille sum1"). My suspension ended the night after my birthday which meant that I had an excuse to go out n get smashed.

So yeah welcome to the world of lifts from all the people who owed u lifts and countless nights of gettin drunk coz u dun have to drive.

oh so that's why you're selling

this isnt the reason why I am selling. The main reason why im selling is because im leaving the country in march and theres not point leaving it here costing me money.... but as i can only drive it for 28 more days it has sped things along :D

i dont mind about the suspenison. In 28 days it starts and i leave in march so its really only a 2 month suspension :) its more the insurance factor afterwards when I want to buy another car. I'm assuming a JDM spec R might be a little tricky to insure cheaply now ...

mate u dont have to cop the fine or suspension.

remember how i got a fine for apparently doing 130 in a 80 zone nearly 1 year ago??? I still got my license and fighting the chargers and still have my license.

The courts and law can be your friend even if the cops and government aint :)

pm me if u want more info

lol nice one denham

andrew, do what he has then cancel ur licence and flee... to mehico or somethin lol

u cant lose somethin u dont have :)

but unfortuantely it will prob still b on ya record

unless u change ur name or somethin

Remind me of when i just got my P, went to Sydney, on the way back did 190 on Hume Hwy got done just before Melb border.

Got $800 fine, 6 demerit points and the cop was telling me if i got bust on Melb's side i'll have my license cut in haft on spot.

We always do stupid things once in a while specially when we were in out P too, oh did it in a skyline as well, the 4cilynders 2,4 twin spark ones, wasn't sure if it was imported or locall deliver.

Anyway you'll be out of the country so....yeah good luck with the sale.

    • FWIW the depth of the groove in the rubber pad is not super essential, the blocks are rubber and squish a bit. If you are worried an angle grinder will make a deeper groove quick smart
    • I mean, if you were to move the jacking points away from the original location, that is, away from the wheels and closer to the centreline of the car, then it will be more likely to overbalance and tip off the supports. Same as we talked about before. I was talking about moving for-aft. If the sill is bent outward or inward, then the car would obviously look unstraight from the outside. Hopefully that hasn't happened either. Again, you can do comparative measurements from the chassis rails to see if there is much deflection.
    • Can you elaborate what you mean with your first sentence? I meant move as in the bulge kinda seemed like it got pulled "outward" meaning it got pulled down and to the side with the jacking rail itself, so the load bearing bulge now sits lower than usual and is not level with the sill on the other side of the jack point. Either that or the jacking rail just got pushed in a good bit.
    • As well as being risky WRT tipping off anyway. Yeah, I wouldn't expect it to move. Just measure from the rear one to the front one on the good side, then measure that same length on the wrecked side. You will find the notches in the pinchweld, and the jacking pad. Just spray a spot of marker paint or something there.
    • but any other area than the bulge you are talking about will just cave in then? The front driver side is pretty bent so I don't know if that will work the way it is now. I can still kinda make out where that bulge is/was but it looks like the position of it also changed due to all the mistreatment? Hard to tell
