Best Air Intake For A Rb25de

hey, a mate has bought a k&n POD FILTER that needs oil lubrication.

from wat ive read on here so far (unfortunately most info is on turbo forums) the oil ones are trouble

and its better to get a k&n FLAT PANEL filter instead and keep the original air box and snorkel.

is this correct? or does it apply to rb25DET engines?

also wats the best CAI intake u get for a rb25de?

any help would be appreciated..cheers

1) panel filter in original airbox

2) pod filter with heat shield (defect?)

3) pod filter non oil

ive been running a kn pod filter for about 2 years now with a heat sheild and cai and i have never oiled it once, no problems yet!
