Squeek Squeek

The front suspension in my 32 GTS-T has developed a loud squeek when going over bumps, as far as I can tell its coming from the very top of the strut, The bushes were recently replaced so i think its something else.

Any suggestions?

When I bought my R32 the bushes had just been replaced and they squeaked like a rusty gate.

They are reddy/orange urathane and are so tight they squeeze out the grease and start squeaking again.

Hmm that sounds like what it is, might have to re-grease them or something.

get them readjusted, they r too tight and will wear out too quickly

They aren't adjustable. You can't leave the nuts loose. It's a case of the manufacturing tolerances being too tight. The bushes are that tight they have been twisted because they bind up. I've greased them several times and have fitted grease nipples but the grease doesn't get to where it's needed because they're so tight.

When they wear out I'll replace them with bushes with the right clearances.
