Could not agree more Nick! As it happens I'm not doing the LA to LV trip as I don't have enough time to recover from a coke and hooker night....I am however trying to plan something else that is just as big just without the risk of STD's

Keep in mind these things wern't suppose to take corners they were made for raw straight line power, the rear suspension (or lack of) is living proof of that. Did you at least have a somewhat enjoyable drive?

Exactly right, they were indeed not built for corners. A few on ramp sprints but that was about it. To be honest was more about having a drop top for that nostalgic drive than anything else. Just book flights 1 hour ago for this years trip, 3 weeks again but taking in Canada this time so will see what we can find for that.
