TriniGT
So I had a cracked MFD screen. I removed the outer polarized screen that left me with a screen that was so bright I could not make out anything on the screen. I read that I could get a polarized LCD adhesive to replace it and it should work. I bought it and replaced it and here is what I am getting now. Your thoughts, besides it F@#ked, is it a backlight problem? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/306646-mfd-display-question/ Share on other sites

jrm
So what did you do? (And where did you source the LCD adhesives..) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/306646-mfd-display-question/#findComment-5070694 Share on other sites
TriniGT
I got it from a place in China, a place called 3Dlens but I am sure you can get it local to you'll. I bought a big sheet in the event that I screwed up something. Took three weeks to get it but it worked out fine. I simply got a fine blade, I used a razor blade and removed the outer damaged screen from the LCD that was totally cracked and then cleaned the screen with some methylated spirits and applied the adhesive polarized film to it and it worked fine, like new now. So now there is one last piece to my puzzle, this is going int this weekend .
