Sorry to hear that Juliette. Hopefully the Lancer can fly the FWD flag for this round.

Hi Bec - really sorry, I'm not going to be able to make DECA full stop now. Just ran into an unexpected expense with the Skyline on top of all the work being carried out to the Pulsar so I'm too short of money.

Don't you have your sisters wedding or something?

yeh but i organised to go up with several mates, already booked the motel and as it turns out my sisters wedding has been delayed  so i can't not come to deca even if i can't drive.

and after my enjoyable hospital visit today (another lost 4 hours), i can't take the cast off until the 8th of April

if you want to spot me at deca, just look for the cripple !

I'm sending good vibes your way. Aside from the lack of money/driving ability, I doubt the car would even be finished by DECA at the rate parts are taking to arrive.

All vibes appreciated Juliette.

Interesting re parts, is that because of the age of them or that they are specialized bits?

If you guys want a lift up for the day trip, I'm sure I can fit at least two more in the Lancer, otherwise good luck getting your mechanical problem sorted.

All that's holding it up is a billet input shaft from Asia. It arrived today but it was 0.2mm out of spec and meant it was too tight a fit. Another is being air-freighted over, the gearbox has been up in Sydney for a couple of weeks getting built and the car's been sitting on a hoist up in the air for about 5 weeks with no gearbox, front interior, etc. Lets just say, the gearbox and manual conversion is worth a fair bit more than my car would be stock haha. It's all worth it. I'll PM you closer to the time Clive, would love to take you up on that offer :D

Woohoo, manual conversion. Way to go will be worth the wait.

Should have thought tho' we could have done a dual entry on the day rather than you pulling out.

Not that my "rb18det" scuse me using the acronym, would be much of a comparison but at least it's manual.

Thanks for the offer but my manual driving's not up to scratch. I'd just watch

Unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out as well...

I hope to still come up and leech a few passenger seat runs from other friendly drivers

Ash, get your car fixed and gimme a lift up to shep!

haha but it might be fun being a passenger coming for a few spins with you and a few others :P also wouldn't mind going in a 33 GTR to see how they go as i'm currently in the market for one.

Also cant wait until sat night we gonna have a couple of fishbowls or what davo :P
