hey guys,

got a problem with my clutch, after i dont drive it overnight the next day when i go to change gears the clutch pedal just goes straight to floor and i need to sort of pump it a few times before it will pop back out to normal again,

anyone got an idea of what the problem could be?

cheers

Kyle

i had a similar issue except mine went to the floor and stayed there. it was caused by the clutch fork pivot bolt inside the gearbox being snapped. but in your case i'd say it's more to do with the master cylinder or possibly slave cylinder.

i had a similar problem in my 2jz cressida, i went to drive it one day and the pedal was on the floor, found out to be 2 things, one the clutch master cylinder had a leak in it and would constantly drain the fluid, not a good thing with a cushion button hydraulic clutch, and when it ran out of fluid altogether air got into it and didnt make it work properly after fluid went back in and clutch mastercylinder was replaced, although the first clutch master cylinder melted due to the excessive heat from the turbos exhaust housing (was running an 800hp turbo (BIG)) lol and set the fluid on fire which dripped down to create a bit of a fireball under the car lol (Note: always have a heat sheild or turbo bag with your turbo!) but yeh check both of them

sweet thanks for the help!

i had the same problem, i bled the fluid and swapped the slave cylinder (was leaking i think cant remember) and it was fine. cost like 20 bucks and some fluid :)

had the same pedal thingy happen today !

i had to bleed the fliud top nipple about 4 times then get underneath and do the bottom nipple 4 times, now its fine !

so might just be you need to bleed it properly.
