Hicas Light And Clicking Sound

Hi Guys!!!

Newbie here, just want to ask you guys what do you think this problem maybe from my GTR.

My Hicas light will turn on suddenly when I pass thru some kind of rough road .. And I hear this clicking sound in the rear trunk bottom left side area, sometimes the click is simultaneous w/ the hicas light turning on, don't know if coincidence though. The clicking sound sounds like a relay flickering. Any of you mates experienced this?

I got the same problem... exactly. Found your post when searching for "hicas".... no posts have the same issue as this.... so not sure how to fix it. I also get erratic behaviour from the 4wd. Big bumps in the road cause it to put power to the front wheels and it shudders until i lift off the throttle. Very strange problems.

Drop me a line if you figure it out... or if any gurus stop by this thread....

I have had a very similar problem, I drive a '97 R33 GTS25t pod/3inch turbo back zorst.

The problem occurred the day after I installed an Apexi SAFC2. After sitting on 90kpph for 5mins I started hearing clicking noises near the passenger seatbelt and then the HICAS lights came on. Car still drove normal, I stopped on the side of the road and the ticking noise continued and HICAS were still lit. Turned the car off waited 30sec and turned it back on the HICAS lights were off but the ticking noise still comes on intermittently (usually at high speeds).

Since then there's an occasional ticking noise near the floor of the passenger's seatbelt but the HICAS light have not lit up since and it has been about 2weeks since the first incident.

If anyone has any ideas please shed some light on us.
