Hello, I've done a bit of a search but couldnt really find anything that answers my question definatly...

I have an R34GTT and i'm in need of a new brake master cylinder.

What cars/models share the same cylinder as the r34?

could I purchase one off an r33 gtst for example and it work fine? as long as its an ABS model i should be right, correct?

Just dont want it affecting brake bias in a bad way or anything like that. All of my brakes are standard so not really wanting to upgrade just want a replacement.

Cheers

I've just realised I've got a BM50 BCS after ducking out to check.

I thought r34 GTT's came standard with BM44's?

Could this be partly to blame for my soft pedal feel because i have a larger bore size? or am i not even close?

I doubt that would be the cause of your soft pedal. I went to a larger master cylinder, and it made the pedal firmer (not softer).

If there are no leaks, the obvious thing would be to bleed or change the fluid and see if that fixes your problem.
