Hey guys.

Currently trying to put my CAS sensor back in and its causing me grief. I've had it out a couple of years ago and it went back in with no troubles at all. This time around its giving me the irrits.

I'm lining it up so the "key" bit goes into its spot. However after several nights of trying it always goes in to the point where about 5mm of gap remains between the cas and the Front engine cover. I've had a look down the hole with a torch and I cant see any reason why it wouldn't be going all the way in. (story of my life!! ).

Nothing appears to be out of place or broken.

Any tips that may sort this problem out???

Cheers. Luke

I had issues with mine too.

The bit is like a half moon kind of shape isnt it? Cant quite remember.

But mine was exactly the same, had the gap. I think you just need to give it a bit more love than you might want to and it should push in.

Yeah it was actually a bit embarrassing how easy it went in after a small hit of grease.

Here i was panicking that I had broken something getting it out. (was a bit tight to get out- once again prolly cuz it was dry)
