It's funny how ppl start to worry when the oil temps rise above 90 degrees C on a hot day, when it is considered normal.

Hot outside temps + A/C running (drains a little bit of power, so you put your foot down more) + if you drive hard / on boost = Temps will rise a little higher.

Just make sure you keep your oil and radiator levels topped up and you'll be fine.

  • 2 months later...

mine has been most noticeable hot at a little less than 100 degrees, during travel at 100kmh and over 30 minutes.

about the Oil Temp Meter. I know it starts at 70 and finishes at 150. so does what make it 70 90 110 130 150 at each bar. Are these the numbers?

also when it got at this stage the HICAS warning light came on. whats that mean?

please bare with me: whats the oil temp for?

GTRs come standard with an oil cooler...

They dont and even NURs dont come with oil cooler. Only N1s come with them.

Mine is always sitting at the bottom of the gauge (75?) when driving around and hottest is around 90+ I think during the SAU drag day which was in the midst of summer! Only did 4 runs though...
