Soon to come i'm goin to be making steam pipe manifolds mainly to suit Rb 25/26 and sr20

just thought i'd post up a pic of my quick job on the dropsaw which i made to give my machine shop an idea of  how i want the pipes for my merge collectors machined

Noice! How did you go about welding the otherside? Got some more piccies?

other side was just migged.. thats the only pic i took of that one as it was just quickly cut shut and migged so i could explain to my engineering shop how i needed the pieces machined so that i could make the perfect collector to go onto my manifolds that i'm goin to be making and selling to suit rb and sr range of motors, next ones i put up will be Tigged and providing the engineering shop gets it right... they will be perfect :)

what did you use to hold the pipe while you cut it? i got this problem at work, the way the pipe needs to be clamped is beyond the capabilities of the machine. 4" grinder ftmfl :)

that was just on a drop saw... held by hand and "guesstimating" the angles, i removed the clamping setup to do those...

oh haha, yeah im not that game, we've got a brobo and a big f*ck off bandsaw, not keen on hand holding pipe under either haha

was about a meter long piece of pipe.. cut both ends, than cut them off and do the same thing.. f**k holding a short piece of pipe while cutting it on the drop saw
