Factory Sterio How To Go Past 90.0 Fm

Hi guys new to this forum, Just brought myself a R33 GTST, It still has the factory stereo in it, Is it possible to tune past 90.0fm if so how can i do this?

put a band expander in it . $12 from anywhere decent . it wont change the numbers but it will get all your stations just at stupid numbers

ditch the factory radio...they suck bad...lol even a 90 dollar pioneer or sony is way beyond the factory one in sound quality

the band expanders are shite , and most people hack the antenna wires to install them and wonder why nothing comes in on the radio properly ?

most people can't fit the things properly anyway. there are $65 in bits to do it correctly. ditch the stock thing and buy a new one- easier.

+1 for a new replacement.

Mine came with an Alpine Double Din CD/mini disk player. Lol. 0.3 short of triple J And I dont have any mini disks (nor think ive ever seen any locally). Still have it somewhere.

Replacement head units aren't that expensive in the grand scheme (unless you change to touch screen dvd )

I recommend you replace the head unit. As per posts above, it's best to get rid of the Japanese head unit, it's not worth the fuss.
