A quick go using the font from Mitch's logo (can't find the font) - good on a white or black bg

brake lights from R35

Welcome aboard Gust and good effort.......don't mind that one cause it's something different I suppose.

another couple of edits of my original design

2nd one looks better as the AU doesnt overwrite the blue, but on the second one the blue A intersects the border of the S. If you moved the A to the right a bit so it doesnt intersect it'd be better. I would also cut the blackness back to the white borders of the primary text, rather than having angular fill in. if you can get a decent printer to fabricate the stickers with a clear section, it'd be worthy - keep the symbols free floating with a transparent bonding layer, keep the borders but dont let them intersect each other, Max contrast and max transparency for the areas of the sticker that are not text

Let me clarify: This is not a change to the club logo, just a sticker for members to display on their car. The feedback we received for the current design wasn't exactly positive, so the right step for us was to ask the members to design a sticker.

I know i said "logo" earlier, but the logo will remain the same.

Ahh... so we're after a new sticker layout based on the current logo, and not a new logo.. is the current SAUSA logo based on the above ones you've been showing, Damien? I'm wondering what the current logo is to work with as a base.

Btw Dion invited me here :)

The new sticker can be based on your brothers toothbrush if you so wish, it doesn't have to be based on the current logo

not a fan of these designs at all. lol illustrator gone wrong and photoshop basic's we can do much better I should hope ??????

are we looking for a identity like the golden arches or just a sticker to replace the shite ones we have now ? something like the R31 club has, more of something to identify us at a glance, something that stands out from the crowd (sheep /muppets) but something that caters to the masses who join up ?

Some ideas based on the new skyline logo styling. As before, the thumb is on a black background, the full size with a white background.

the bottom one is my 1st choice with a close 2nd for the top one :(

    • Yeah i have R34 with factory small box and now RB25DET NEO swapoed and iam planning to upgrade to big box.  So i would be good as long as i do not change diff?
    • Based off what you’ve said here, I think I’ve figured out a good bit of what I’ve done wrong -  So on the line going from the PCV valve to carbon canister, there’s a T joint that is pretty much right next to that lower port - I hadn’t noticed that the hose in the diagram was curved to attach onto the carb, so I was putting that line for the lower port onto the PCV line / carbon canister line instead. I’m going to have a flick through the manual again tomorrow and should hopefully find a diagram that’ll show me where that T joint should be connected to. Timing also 100% needs to be sorted out as well, should be able to tackle that tomorrow as well. Definitely feel like I should be on the right track now though.
    • The screw is for idle (pilot circuit) mixture adjustment. Else, I'm confused ~ the diagram shows 2 carby ports, and the intake manifold port, but you're suggesting the "2nd port on the back of the carb that isn’t mentioned in the diagrams" ...yet, both carby ports are shown...que?... ...in any event, that port should be connected, but if not (like it is now), it's unlikely to cause a backfire out the carby (it would introduce false air and give you a fast/lean idle) ...sounds more like timing issues/spark plug wire routing responsible for the backfiring.
    • That's fair, I can see both points. I get enthusiastic when I see the FS section has a new post and want to see what interesting thing someone is selling. Then I get deflated it's a bump of a 10 year old post. Ha ha
