extractors fitted?

I need to know a good place, how much it will cost, and how long they should need the car for.

I went to a place this morning and they said they need the car for the whole day, and it would cost about 200-300!!!!!!!!!

I said yeah ook ill be back in 30 mins... He He

I thaught that is should only take like 3 or so hours, and it should cost $100?

Please give your thaughts..

Thanks

James W.

my guys did mine in under an hour, coz it was just a bolt on extractor... mind you N/A so no turbos n stuff to fiddle with... charged me $20 habib rates. Unfortunately the shops called Tuffy Exhausts 5 doors down from my parent's house in Syd so that wouldn't help.

they will need 3 hours for a VERY simple reason.

If you are driving your car to the exhaust place, then the exhaust is going to be hot (obviously) so most places will let it sit and cool before they work on it as a policy for safety etc.

Last thing you want is a worker with a burnt arm because an manifold slipped.

so 3 hours is reasonable, but the price is not.

someone here might be able to do it for ya anyways.

but do you need a new pipe to meet up with your cat???

or do the extractors bolt up to the exhaust you already have (un-likely)

If you need a new pipe, then 3 hours, $300, is cheap
