Someone may be able to help me out with this,

Im running a r34gtt with a r33 rb26 and pfc fitted,When i connect the water temp out on the pfc pin(28) to the r34 dash,I have problems starting, any one have experience of this, or know if the sensors are different on the rb26 and the neo? Will the pfc accept the signal from the r34 sensor if they are different?

asking a lot here but once again ,thanks in advance.

this is from memory so bear with me.

Pretty sure pin 56 is the ecu water temp pin (from the dual wire sensor) and 28 is auto control???, the dash sensor is a separate one wire sensor, usually blue with black trace. Trace the color back from the sensor just to be sure. (both sensors are located next to each other)

chcek on the hand controller

turn the car to ON, but don't start it

on the hand controller

ETC

SENSOR SW CHECK

look at WTRT

if its name is black and bold highlighted the sensor is toast, out of range, not connected, damaged or mangled

replace the sensor, check the wiring, check how it's connected, look for a short, or something else is wrong

if its working the sensor name will appear like the others and it will have a voltage next to it

it should be around 1 ish volts with the key ON but engine not running, ie im guessing water temp would be around 30deg ish ?

if WTRT is highlighted in black bold the engine check light will also be on
