Centrals supporters ? are they all saints ?

Heh admittedly not, theyre almost as feral as magpie supporters

But diff is when you wear their scarf, they target the dudes in black and white

Fine by me :( (I will say that I never saw them carryon in front of young children like Port supporters have done, but maybe I'm just biased? Or just didnt see it..)

but surely being in the position he is in, representing a club, he isnt going to concede in round 6? The best thing to do is to stay positive. Id be far more concerned if he was writing the season off, rather than giving the small mathematical chance a crack

Even a mathematician would look at the performance of the top 4 other clubs and wonder if they're going to even lose 6 matches

Im with sled on this one. PR wise, maybe he'll have to do what he can to gee them up and get their confidence up

They wont make the finals I'm >pretty< sure.... sadly..

I have been to many magpies games. sure there are bogans. Like any other teams supporters.

Never had a problem at any games tho ?

Seems to be alot of hearsay from people that don't actually attend games.

Ive seen sturt, centrals, norwood - all teams supporters swaer, carry on, abuse each other. post-45384-1272888661.jpg

Also been to alot of power games. Never had a problem either.

Centrals supporters ? are they all saints ?

I probably couldn't count on one hand how many Crows home games I've missed in the last 15 years and I've seen some funny stuff. Like I said earlier, I'm no saint and I swear like a trooper but there's a time and place for it

edit: I'll be there this week for the Richmond game also

Craig, you make a good point at the end of your post.

The SANFL's biggest (remembered) rivalry since WWII has always been Port vs Norwood.

During the 80's and 90's (at the peak of their rivarly) it didn't matter whether you'd be at Alberton or the Parade, you'd expect to cop alot of shit, but you felt reasonably safe.

Ever been to Elizabeth (Centrals) over the last 10 years?? Mini Joffas everywhere that just wanna smash your face in, rape your missus and steal your hub caps

But same goes with the Port games - it just depends on which scarf you're wearing, and how hot your missus is (and port supporters dont steal hub caps, they steal towbars)

but regardless of circumstance, you dont wanna see him go "nah, f**k it, we are done". Even if we are 0-21, youd have a crack at round 22.

well yeah... he cant give up cause if he gives up hes not really setting a good example

the pragmatist in him would be switching tho from winning a premiership, to just winning games - totally different approach to coaching and psychology

Cant see the supporters being too happy if he was to say 'f**kit' and that alone is reason to keep on fighting for whatever wins he can get

He can however use this time to experiment with the new youngsters, move them around and see how they perform without worrying too much about winning points...

Dohmar. when did you last go to a port game ? seriously ?

I'm not having a go at you.BUT Sometimes you stick your beech into things that you have no idea about. You do not know everything

I wonder if sometimes you just post to pass the time.

Ive been to many port games in the last two years. Never even seen a fight. figure that out.

I do see dead beat port supporters .'; Generally the drop out cheer squad. Which all teams have.

nah you're right, cause if he does that the losing will def get worse.

I think there is a way of blooding the youngsters and keeping the old 4 in there......after all, it's the geriatrics that are giving you a contest, not your 2nd tier players.

Burton went missing on the weekend and was soley responsible for the Power's spark (that turned into a bushfire) in the beginning of the last 1/4 BUT, the guy can still win a game for you off his own boot, remember his 2nd game back this year? (forget the 1st one, LOL)

May last year when they were against Centrals

Well arent you the dickhead for assuming that I dont go to games

I dont go to every game. Never claimed to. But Ive to my share, ever since my Dad started taking me to Prospect oval when I was a kid to watch North Adelaide. Been a Centrals supporter since 96 and go whenever I can arrange time with other like minded friends. So who are you to tell me what I do and don't know about? You dont know me, I have my opinion and you have yours. Harden the f**k up if you disagree. Its your right.

And perhaps thats the same selective bias that I have, when I say that I havent seen centrals supporters act as 'foolysik' as port supporters. Doesnt mean I'm going to have a whinge about it when people disagree.

EDIT - And I was at the 96 grand final when Port actually won and then decided to carry on like a bunch of bananas after the game, trashing Central supporters cars - but hey, believe what u want.

I thought it was Norwood vs Glenelg and Port vs Centrals?

I became a centrals supporter because I hated the magpies that much, before that I went for North ;P

-D

^ makes sense.

I went to the centrals v glenelg gf.

Centrals were just about punching on b4 the game.

Port supporters generally don't have enough energy to start fights.

Dohmar. dickhead ?

You get carried away and defensive way to easily.

Why call me a dickhead ? I'm not a regular that's why?

You obviously have not had decent sex in a long time

O well. back to lurking.......

I assume the same thing so I must be a dickhead too.

You make off the cuff statements without ever going to a Port or Crows match....different with Talbo cause at least I know he speaks 1st hand but your evaluation of Port supporters is purely heresay.........and a load of cock frankly.

I wasn't kidding about the urine in a cup episode.......it actually did happen as the Crows coach walked down the race.....and it has been well documented that it was done by Crow's supporters!!

Um, I went to both the Showdowns 25 and 26 and Port won both times. So I've never been to a Port or Crows match?

Besides, you may not have heard about it, theres this wonderful invention called TV. you can watch the games!!!1

-D

EDIT - And my evaluation of Port supporters is only a load of Cock to Port supporters themselves. It seems to be a well established fact. Just as Eddie McGuire said.

Your opinion and mine varies. Nuff said.

Seen what??

Lol, I can go on Wiki too and tell you that Port won Showdowns 25 & 26...but I don't remember it!!

Guess you were drinking the local beverages eh

I remember in 25 the crowns couldnt mark the ball for shit and chad cornes was a slow and couldnt get many posessions

I dont remember 26 MUCH aside from the two crows supporters that had a fight in the carpark after the game

96 Grand final, me and 4 of my friends got beer dregs thrown at us by the port wankers 3 rows up - mainly because we had the 'gall' to walk around to the seats behind the goals at the switch of the quarter

given the fact i am half blind, I can see a lot more on a tele than in person. I'll send my memberships to the WB's like I always do, and watch the games on TV when I can, and maybe attend the games if any of my friends are going. Doesnt make me any less of a supporter.

    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
