Hi all, long time since I posted

Trying to sell my plates I've had for a number of years now. Since the car was sold interstate, I have no use for them

I have advertised them on eBay and currently have them up now - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/R32-Skyline-GTSt-Pe...=item27af52e730

What do you guys reckon they are worth? Is $350 too much or should I be asking more?

How hard is it to transfer them over? Any of your experiences would be good to hear

Cheers,

Chris

what you're really selling is your intellectual property, because you thought of it.

spot on.....if you think that your one random though is worth $350 then by all means its worth 350 lol......nice plates though

exactly its the wierdest market around. i cant beleive how much people have paid for plates in the past but each to their own.

something like "godzila" would be worth something but i dont think your plate will be that sought after.

good luck all the same

Is it actually legal to sell plates? Dont they remain the property of transport sa at all times?

The right to display the plates is held by the owner, and can be transferred for money.

It's a bit like if you had XXX-XXX plates on your car and someone nicked them, it doesn't mean you lose the right to display them. You just get a new set (if that makes sense!).
