Most workshops will charge you per labour hour which is normally around the $80 mark.....i had my fuel pump and boost controller fitted for i think $80 and a dyno run to see if it all worked fine and to tune the EBC.....all and all it came up to $80 as it took them roughly 1 hour to do lol...

Call and find what workshops will charge you mate.....

workshops up north: pitlane performance, smooth garage, boostworx, morepowa, fours n more, boosting oz

search them up and call em mate

wow thats cheap! i'll have to call thanks for the list.

but heres the update my car is bak on the road. total time was 4hours to take out a fuel pump out of an old 33 then taking out mine and fitting it! and boy im to ashamed to say but my original fuel pump was so small i was shattered i thought i had a big one. a fish tank pump is bigger then what i had! but i have a new pump and its MUCH bigger and i think my car is even more responsive now :D so i wound the boost up 2 notches :)

thanks guys for the help!!!

i bought a standard 2nd hand pump off my mate from his spare 33 for 50$ which im happy. but i will now save and buy a aftermarket :))

if you bought a standard 33 pump theres no way it should have been larger than your original. Was your car ever an N/A? You wont get more response from a fuel pump, it was probably struggling to pump the amount of fuel required, your lucky you changed it when you did.

thats a valid point damo. and not sure if it was N/A unfortunately.

but theres now bad news.. my car is dead again! fuel pump is working fine, fuses are fine. the car cranks but just doesnt wana start >.< one problem after another! anyone know what may be wrong? could a coil pack have died and it refuses to start the car? what happened was i was at my mates and hopped out the car cos mate wanted to look under the hood then the car started to idle up and down then the car turned off... anyone know of this happening and would know what could be wrong with it?

give your afm a quick clean to see if that is the issue....also try another afm if you can get hold of it just to rule out the afm is the issue.....i remember the same symptoms when my mates afm died

    • Yeah I've spotted this one too, whenever it's lotto superdraw week and I'm browsing car sales dot com for my new ride They must be dreaming, maybe it's worth 150k for the link to Brock?
    • 100% accurate!ย  We are a pack of know it alls....ย  But, I bet people go to you when they have a problem! I've been on a bit of a clean up rampage too over the past month!ย  I've thrown more shit in the bin over the past 2 weeks than I have in the past 3 years combined! Anyway, it's all good fun being different! My wife sometimes does not agree! ย
    • ADHD in all form isn't about "can focus, or can't focus" or is hyper active or isn't etc. ย  It's all a dysregulation. Either time feels to be stationary, or time just vanishes in a split second. We are either under focussed on the task at hand (as we're over focussed on our surroundings) or we have no idea an atomic bomb went off beside us as we're so hyper focussed and locked in on things. ย  Not to mention the rapid fire thought process. What it takes a "normal" process to think up a solution to a problem, ADHD will be able to give you 5 different ways to solve the problem, and the pros and cons of each. While we can be highly impulsive and lack the ability to "control ourselves" we can also become paralysed with the inability to make a decision for ourselves. While most of us have an OCD like requirement for perfection, we lack the ability often to remain focussed to get things to a perfect state. Those with undiagnosed ADHD as adults, can often find the last part actually stops them ever attempting to do things that they have the ability to do, as the reasoning is often "if I can't do it perfectly, it's not worth doing" ย  As for projects... Ha ha ha, I still need to take the other half of my wall trim down in the Fiance's office so I can paint it. Need to finish digging and running the back yard drains, my R33, getting the Ninja bike registered (now being sold), the moped project, fixing either of the lawn mowers so they're reliable, along with a myriad of other things. ย  It's why I've been going through lately and just being brutal and clearing projects off that I won't actually ever complete. IE, moped will go to the tip, or be given away, bike is being sold, Subaru project being sold, some parts for other projects given away. Or I've been making myself focus on one thing at a time, by ticking off the smallest quickest ones first. ย  There's also a reason by our mid twenties we seem to be "know it alls", as we've all been down some of the weirdest and oddest rabbit holes when you follow the dopamine trail. It's often also why we're more a jack of all trades, but not a master of one. ย  However, pretty much all of my hobby projects, in one way or another, all come back around to automotive. That's my zen area.
    • Remember reading about this not too long ago. been for sale for a long timeย  this is like when the wife says you need to sell the car so you put it up for a ridiculous price no one will pay
    • You are perhaps suggesting that it is not a super car? Well....it's not an AU.
