A bit about the car!

Being a GTR, the car is standard with 5-Speed Getrag Gearbox, Brembo Brakes, Computer Controlled 4WD, Super-HICAS with

front and rear yaw rate control, 4-Wheel Multi-Link Suspension.

Being a V-Spec, the car gets the Pro version of ATTESA-ETS system that provides integral control of the

driving and braking forces at all four wheels independently, enabling each wheel to deliver its

full performance potential. This system consists of ATTESA-ETS for optimum front-to-rear torque split control,

Ok Guys, finally had some time to take some more pictures. My studies have commenced and I'm just about to get my daily on road so this will just be sitting in my parent place and they are not keen on me keeping two cars and I don't want to park it on the streets. Keen on selling it to someone who knows their GTRs and has the cash for it (seriously - no time waster, had a few in the last couple of weeks). Car was detuned to 252kw@all 4 wheels for fuel economy . Will not refuse genuine offers in the next month.

Forgot to mention, someone rang and wanted to know if I was interested in swaps. Since I've found a daily, I'm interested in the sale of this car, so No Swaps.

The rear 2-piece carbon fiber wing is like the one on Nismo 400R GTR (just to make it clear as a few people were unfamiliar with it, its worth big$$$)

No one willing to offer but asking for a price, so the price is $26,500. Genuine offers are welcome and I won't be offended, but you must have a look at the car first.

Rego coming up soon and will be paid so car has rego for another 12 months.

Nice car

Im actually in the market for a 33GTR/34GTT but 26k is a little higher than i wanted to go

Good luck with the sale

Thanks Mate, I am negotiable with genuine offers so feel free to send me an offer and we'll negotiate.

im at around the 19-20k mark which im aware is far less than what this car is worth. I had pretty much figured id get either a niceish34gtt or a stock r33 gtr.

Cant expect a 300atw kw 33 gtr for that price can i :)

Shame since its a really nice car, good luck with it

Thanks guys, honestly it is very cheap for what it is. Always puts a smile on my face when I drive it. , not to mention the attention from other drivers.

Stock GTRs can be found for about 20k but how long before you start adding a few mods, such as turbos, exhaust, computer, injectors, fuel pump etc, which will cost in thousands, not including tuning and labour.

The_AU_Viper: If your deciding between a 33GTR or 34GTT, I would suggest take both for a test drive if you haven't already done so! I know people who were in your shoes and after taking a GTR for a spin, they never looked for another car :woot:

:)

I used to drive an R34 GTT.... now I drive an R33 GTR.... have never looked back and still grinning from ear to ear.

Thats what I'm talking about. :(

dam very nice car, im in the market in the next few weeks (will probably be starting to look the next week or 2) if it is still for sale when i start looking i will give you a call.

free bump for such a great car :D

Turns out I'm actually going to be looking sooner, what suburb? Im also SE.

Also are you free tomorrow late in the arvo 5-6(or anytime when the sun is up)? cant really look on the weekends as I work them.

hey mate sorry to hijack but can stock r33 gtr's be used as dailys? how does there fuel economy go for commuting to work and back go? simply because im tossing up between a r33 gtr and a r34 gtt

Hey Salem, stock GTRs will sip fuel as much as if not more than a 5litre :D , I've tested this against my old VR stato :) . Since this has a free flowing air intake, exhaust, bigger pump, bigger injectors etc, if given a bit of squirt, will struggle to get to 300kms :( . Maybe if I got it tuned only and only for fuel economy and drove under boost then the mileage would be greater.

But driving a GTR for fuel economy would be like 'watching a porno for its plot' ;)

Simple maths, turbo cars will consume fuel as much as V8s, but its not what you drive, its how you drive it. But to answer your question, both can be used as daily, as I had no trouble driving my car to work everyday and now occasionally. :)

Hope that didn't confuse you!

haha cheers mate! i think the R34 would sip a bit less petrol though and i know if i got the R33 gtr id be giving it a squirt more than once a day!

    • Dropped the MX5 of this morning to get the hardtop colour matched and some PDR done, they are also going to give it a buff to remove some "stubborn" swirl marks and light scratches in the clear coat Over the last few months the poor little thing has copped some shopping centre car park abuse, I try to not park in them, but hitting Westfield's a few times over the last few months has taken its toll, nothing really bad, but enough of a trigger for a "while we're in there" thingie  Once it's back and all the one colour, with a few dents and mark's removed I'll give some of these products a go and see what they're like
    • A locally delivered Infiniti have remote start installed but don't come with the remote start key. You need a new remote start key and they just need it programed. And this is different to making/programing a new key that just starts the car.
    • Cheers, and cheers for sharing so much of the build and also sharing the glimpse of what turns out to bring a lot of us poor decision makers together haha.  I do recommend learning more about how to manage it, if not considering getting a  formal diagnosis.  The discussion with the psychiatrist I got my diagnosis through was quite eye opening, things I'd not even considered to be ADHD related and hadn't mentioned were things she asked about out of the blue and were common themes with people with my flavour of ADHD.   It's not a label for people who are hyperactive and ill-attentive, there's more to it than that and some of it can be much more challenging or damaging - though there are of course two sides to the thing, and a lot of the stuff we have to go through and work on to live with it make us effectively "better" at other things as well. Aside from the fact that there is some argument I could have a bit of ASD seasoning in there (came up during the diagnosis, and neurodiverse things seem to not stay as a cookie cut) I suspect you need to learn more about ADHD if you are puzzled about how hyperfocus could possibly apply.  I *do* personally use "superpower" with quotes deliberately, but it's 100% an ADHD thing due to the exact reason that lack of focus is also an ADHD thing... Loosely speaking the inattentive side of ADHD isn't the inability to focus, it's the inability to control where the focus goes.  Not being able to sleep because brain is more interested in thinking about a stupid thing I said to a girl I liked 30 years ago, not being able to focus on work because my brain is more keen on putting together the torque management strategy we're going to try out with a drag car next weekend, not being able to focus on a conversation with someone I WANT to listen to and respect because there is a flickering light in my peripheral vision.    If I could just stop work and build the torque management setup right there and then I'd not hear anything else until it was done.
    • Maybe you should do some more reading.  Google positive effects of ADHD and you'll get your answers.  One of my personal downsides of ADHD has been talking before I think.   Maybe you have it too?
