Speed Signal Wire For Satnav From Power Fc

Hi guys,

Can anyone give me some directions to find the speed signal wire from my Power FC in a R34 GTR? I need to splice into speed signal for SAT NAV.

I'm not sure there is actually a speed output but I guess the closest thing would be the speed sensor input to ECU. Anyway hope this is of some help to you.

easier way.

pull the fuse panel loose and behind that is a 4 pin plug. 3rd wire in (plug facing you lock up) has speed on it. there is a B+ and ACC feed there as well.

I thought Sat Navs used the satelites to calculate your speed.

Some sat navs take speed from the car as well so when you go through a tunnel/lose satellite sync for any other reason the gps can make an estimation of where you would be on the road. Pretty sure anyway

exactly. they get lost otherwise.
