BlacklistedGTR
Hey guys, My forged built R32 GTR is going in for a tune next week and I need to know how much boost I can put through the rebuilt steel wheeled R34 GTR turbos that are currently on it. I have done research and can't dig up anything. Any help would be much appreciated. R31Nismoid
Totally depends on what wheels were used, where their efficiency lies and so once... So hence you probably won't find any answers, not all "rebuilds" are the same. Just talk to whoever built them and your tuner. No-one else will know. Adriano
The tuner should be able to tell on the dyno, just slowly increase boost until they become inefficient, or you make enough power. If it is a stock motor i wouldnt be going over 18psi Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/308217-max-safe-boost-for-rebuilt-r34-gtr-turbos-with-steel-wheels/#findComment-5087803 Share on other sites
